Tivoli Films was founded in 1991 as a film production and distribution company by Dénes Szekeres, executive producer and managing director for over 12 years. One of the founding fathers in the film industry he has produced for over 30 years.

Tivoli Films track record includes full service for productions shooting in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and other neighbouring countries.

This includes providing cutting edge post production facilities of which Kodak Cinelabs Hungary and Focus-fox Studio Ltd. is partly owned by Tivoli Films.

Katalin Krammer, producer, joined Tivoli Films as partner, January 2005, and together with Dénes opened a new branch, Tivoli Films International, dedicated entirely to overseeing with hands-on expertise of the International production service and co- production branch of the company.

Under the new Tax incentive system, Tivoli Films works closely in partnership with Concorde, and Abacus providing customised financing tailored to each specific production to maximize the tax break.
