A forty-something man's 80 year old mother dies and it gives him an opportunity to remember some things from his childhood and teenage years.
These are simple and average stories connecting past and present with nostalgic humor. Pictures, scenes, emotions have their roles in the shaping of the middle-aged man's character.
The man remembers through three different stories how innocent sexuality was in his childhood, how awful his school years were and how he became an adult; things he's looking at now as a matured person. The light was lost from the sixties until the seventies in Greece, which gives the background of the stories, and helps to recall the memories.
Political events and social connections as they happen in a Greek family's life thirty years ago and as they stay alive in a child's memory.
Now in a hospital room, a mother dies peacefully in the arms of her son. It's everyday routine for the hospital workers. The life of the city goes on. But the son, who falls asleep with his mother in his arms, gets back to those years that went by like the scenes of a dream.
Scenes, that have their marks on a man's life.
