One of the most competitive and attractive Tax Incentive systems in Europe was created in Hungary. Since its launch in April 2004 the new Motion Picture Act has proven that Hungary is the destination for service and co-productions alike.

20% Tax Rebate is not only available to foreign producers, and co-production partners. It also encourages local productions previously lacking financing opportunities.

The Tax Incentive system is equally attractive to Hungarian Tax payers providing the funds as they can not only deduct their contribution from pre-tax profit, but can realize 16% return within a year.
